In the following season, the news also that it was announced Tolman was set to play a 2-episode appearance on the Mindy Project playing Abby Berman, a romance writer. In 2015, she played an supporting role on Michael Dougherty s comedy horror movie Krampus. Tolman declined roles in supporting characters including best friends wives, and mothers following her first big role on Fargo. She was looking for a role that was different. Tolman had a role on ABC as a character in Downward Dog (based on Animal Media Group's web-series). The show ended after one season. Tolman has been known as a Twitter user, claimed that she earned "pretty remarkable" ratings for her role in the ABC Drama Emergence.
